Patches come in lots of options and can be made exactly to your specific needs. We will asses your units design and let you know what options will be best for you as some designs can be too complex for 100% traditional embroidery. Our most popular size is 3.5" and come in three main styles of sewing.

Embroidered Patches

Embroidered patches are best for clean-lined artwork with lettering at least ¼” tall or more. We would not recommend including gradients, small fine lines, or intricate detail.  Embroidered patches give a raised traditional look to your patch. The smaller you want to go, the less detail, wording, and color we recommend.  Traditional embroidery includes up to 12 thread colors

Woven Patches

If your design is too elaborate or complex to be completed with the embroidery process, Woven Patches are an ideal way to go. Woven patches are best for designs with fine lines, small lettering, and detail in a small area. We do not recommend gradients on these designs either.  Woven patches provide a clean flat image and look. They’re known for much more modern look than embroidered patches. Woven patches are the same as embroidered patches in terms of them still using thread, but what sets woven patches apart is the fact that thinner thread is used to achieve greater detail. Because woven patches use thinner threads that are woven together rather than embroidered on a fabric woven patches can achieve a large amount of detail and clarity, especially for small text.

Printed Patches

Printed patches offer the most flexibility in patches as they can reproduce fine details, endless colors and and gradient blends. Anything is possible. Printed patches use a blank twill base fabric and the design is printed using a sublimation dying method. Then finished with a merrowed sewn edging. This produces a flat finish without and raised thread.
